Kerasoy 4110 Pillar Wax eller KeraWax 4600
5 x Vaxsmältning Tartlet Clamshells
50 ml Doftolja – we used Pepparkaka
3 g av 6099/25 Orange Dye
3 g av 5024/27 Rust Orange Dye
3 g av 227 Cream Dye

Step 1 – Measure & Melt Your Wax

First, you will need to measure your wax. As we are using 3 different colours in our marbled wax melts, we have measured out 134g into 3 separate melting pots – this will be the perfect amount to fill 5 clamshell moulds.

Put all three of your melting pots onto a medium heat until the wax has melted all the way through.

Step 2 – Add Your Dyes

Once the wax has melted, leave it to cool to 65°C. Now add the desired amount of your first dye into one of your melting pots. Stir the dye through the wax until it has evenly blended.

Repeat this with your second and third colour in your other two melting pots.

Step 3 – Add Your Fragrance Oil

Once the dye has evenly blended it is time to add the fragrance oil, we have gone for Pepparkaka. We have added 16ml of fragrance oil into each of our 3 melting pots.

Stir the fragrance into the wax gently ensuring no bubbles are caused, if done too vigorously it can leave air bubbles in the wax once it has cooled.

Step 4 – Pour Your First Colour

Pour your first colour into the clamshell moulds, only pouring little bits into each segment, making sure you leave gaps for the next pour.

Step 5 – Pour Your Second Colour

When you can see that the first colour has started to cool, it’s time to pour the next colour. Once again, only pouring little bits here and there so you start to fill in the gaps.

Step 6 – Pour Your Third Colour

Repeat this step with the third colour, pouring little bits of wax into the moulds without filling the segments completely. Keep alternating between the colours until the clamshell moulds are full. Then leave them to set for 24 hours.
