Ingredientes:
- 70g Kerawax 2555 Cera de abeja amarilla para uso cosmético
- 70g refined coconut carrier oil
- 70g organic unrefined shea butter
- Optional: Aceite esencial – (2% of the aceite portador used)
- Honey Bee Silicone mould
- Bain marie or double boiler
- Spoon (not supplied)
- Jarra
- Weighing scales (not supplied)
Primer paso:
Weigh out the ingredients. This receta makes about 4 bars in total.
Segundo paso:
Add the beeswax, coco oil and shea butter to a bain marie or double boiler. Melt and mix until smooth and then remove from the heat.

Tercer paso:
At this point, you can add the essential oil and stir this in until well blended. It is important to check the flash point of the essential oil to ensure you are adding it at the correct temperature. For ejemplo, Aceite esencial de lavanda tiene un punto de inflamación de 70°c. This will mean the mixture’s temperature will need to be below 70°c when adding Lavender. This is so that the fragrance does not evaporate.
Paso 4:
Pour the mixture into the silicone mould. Fill to the thickness you would like. Leave these to genial fully and pop each bar out of the mould ready to apply to the skin.
