- 160g Soyaluna Container wax
- 20 cl karen round glass container
- Eco 10 Docht
- Dochtzentrierwerkzeug oder Wäscheklammer
- Klebepunkte
- 5g Fragrance oil of your choice (6% fragrance load) (We have used Jasmine fragrance)
- Bekro Candle Dye: Violet
- Waagen
- Gießkanne
- Thermometer
- Löffel

- Bain-Marie oder ein Doppelkessel
Methode
1. Das Wachs abmessen und schmelzen
First, weigh 160g of Soyaluna-Wachs bereit für die Herstellung von 1 x 20cl glass candle. Soyaluna is a white, soy blend wax and comes in a pellet form, which makes it easy to melt. Pour the wax into a bain marie or double boiler and gently heat the wax to 85c to ensure it is fully melted. Stir the wax to ensure an even spread of heat and try not to heat the wax above 90c as this could damage the Naturwachs. Sie können die Temperatur mit Hilfe eines Thermometers im Auge behalten.

Once heated you can then add the wick in place, we have chosen an ECO 10 wick for this container and wax combination. Simply peel the tab from one end of the glue dot and stick to the end of the wick, then peel the other side of the dot and place it centrally into the glass. Press down to secure this in place. You can then use a wick centring tool to keep the wick upright.
3. Wiegen Sie Ihr Parfüm oder ätherisches Öl
Now it’s time to think about fragrance oil. It is common to add between 5%-10% of fragrance oil in candles. We will be adding a 6% fragrance load to the wax. This will mean 6% of the amount of wax we are using. This works out at 5.7g of fragrance oil. Measure 5g on a weighing scale to get an accurate measurement.

Next, check the flash point of your chosen fragrance oil. The flashpoint is the temperature in which the scent will evaporate so it is important to add the oil below this temperature. Jasmine will need to be added below 95c.

6. Add your dye
Add a pinch of dye to the wax and stir slowly until fully blended into one colour.
7. Gießen des Wachses
Gießen Sie das Wachs bei etwa 65 °C in einen Krug und gießen Sie es dann langsam in Ihr Kerzenglas, wobei Sie einen Abstand von etwa 1 cm zur Oberseite lassen. 8. Die Kerze aushärten lassen für 24 Stunden
Lassen Sie die Kerze mindestens 24 Stunden lang auf einer flachen, ebenen Oberfläche stehen. Für beste Ergebnisse empfehlen wir langsam Kühlung bei Raumtemperatur und vermeiden Sie kalte Oberflächen oder Zugluft. Sie können auch ein Gestell verwenden, um die Kühlung vom Boden des Glases aus zu fördern.
9. Trimmen Sie den Docht
Now your candle has cured it’s time to trim the wick to about 5mm and get ready to fall in love with your homemade candle. As you can see the wax has set with a smooth, cremig finish. Soyaluna offers a great hot and cold scent throw allowing your chosen fragrance to naturally fill the room.
