With the arrival of warmer weather on its way, we have crafted a przepis that captures the essence of Spring and Summer. Imagine the sweet fragrance of sun-ripened fruit and the alluring aroma of blooming flowers wafting through the air. Our goal was to blend the soft hues of peaches with delikatny dried flowers and the sun-kissed scent of apricot rose, symbolising the transition of seasons. The result is a luxurious and highly scented finish, which can be melted at home to release a mica swirl and beautiful aroma. Want to know how to make your very own? - 100g Wosk do filarów SoyaLuna
- 10ml Sun Drenched Apricot Rose Fragrance Oil
- Heart Mould
- 1 pinch Żółty and 2 pinches of Light Pink dye
- 1/4 teaspoon Złota satynowa mika w proszku
- Dried flowers
- Double boiler
- Łyżka
- Termometr
- Dzbanek
Krok 1
Melt 100g wax in a podwójny bojler on a medium heat, you can use a spoon to carefully stir the wax pellets slowly. Melt until smooth and czysty in appearance, up to a temperature of about 80°c.
Krok 2
Once the wax has fully melted, you can add the olejek zapachowy. You will need to make sure that the wax is below 93°C which is Sun Drenched Apricot Rose’s flash point temperature. As we are using 100g of wax, we can use the whole 10ml bottle of fragrance oil as this equates to a 10% fragrance load. Add this to the melted wax and stir until fully blended for around 2-3 minutes.

Now it’s time to add the dye. The best temperature to add dye is when the wax is between 60-65°c. Pop the thermometer into the wax and once at the optimum temperature, add a pinch of yellow dye chips and 2 pinches of light rose pink. Mix this together until one colour and no dye chips can be seen. This usually take 2-3 minutes.

Add a quarter of a teaspoon of gold satin mika w proszku to the wax and stir this in. We love watching the beautiful swirl it creates!
Krok 5
Next you will want to prepare your heart mould by adding your dried flowers. We just sprinkled 3 varieties into each heart shape. The more you add, the more textured the surface of your wosk topi się will become.
Krok 6
Check the temperature of the wax is around 65°c and then pour the wax from your double boiler into a pouring jug. Carefully pour the wax into each heart shape within the mould.
Krok 7
Wait for the wax melts to set for at least 24 hours. Then pop each heart shape out from the mould. You can add them to a wax melt burner to release the wonderful aroma or wrap them up ready to give as a gift.
Package your wax melts in glassine bags or cardboard trays or alternatively store them in a tin. Leaving the wax melts to cure for 2 weeks will allow the scent throw to be at its best!
