How much aceite con fragancia should I use?

All of our fragrance oils are high calidad and designed specifically for their excellent scent release capabilities, meaning a small amount usually goes a long way. The formula for calculating the exact quantity you will need is relatively complex. This is why we have put together a guía which will give you more detailed information on this subject and which you will find here. As a general rule, it is advisable to start with a fragrance oil proportion of between 5-8% of the total volume, although you can go up to 10% for less intense scents. It is always best to experiment with each combination of wax and scented oil, remembering to proceed gradually, increasing the quantity little by little. If you follow the guide and respect the flash point temperatures, you will be able to create deliciously scented candles in the blink of an eye. It is not recommended to use a proportion of scented oil greater than 12% of the total volume, to prevent the vela from starting to ooze or the oil from starting to flow down the length of the candle.

Can I use this fragrance oil in a diffuser stick?

All of our fragrance oils have been designed to be compatible with stick diffusers. Simply mix them with a base oil for diffusers, available here. Make a mixture of base oil and perfume consisting of no more than a quarter (25%) of perfume oil, depending on the desired intensity.

Can I use this fragrance oil in soap?

Our fragrance oils are specially formulated to be incorporated into bars of soap. Consult the safety data sheet to learn about the maximum amount (%) of oil to use for each fragrance used in soap bar making applications.

Fragrance oils generally have an expiration of one year from the date of manufacture. However, many fragrance oils can last for months or even years past this date if stored properly.
