Let&#8217;s take you through their definitions and how they would be labelled on a product.<\/h2>\n<h3>Natural<\/h3>\n<p>Materials in the product are found in nature and cannot be chemically changed. Natural is often the most expensive as the ingredients in some fragrances may be becoming scarce or difficult to reliably source.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contains 100% Natural Fragrance<\/li>\n<li>Contains 90% Natural Fragrance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Made with<\/h3>\n<p>A fragrance that contains some natural <a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/guides\/essential-oil-benefits\">essential oils<\/a> or natural fragrance ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contains Real Lavender Oil<\/li>\n<li>Made with Natural Eucalyptus oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Natural Identical<\/h3>\n<p>A synthetic version of a natural ingredient. This means it is chemically identical to what is found in nature but made by synthetic means. Many natural ingredients are becoming very scarce and can be difficult to reliably source. By using synthetic equivalents it is possible to ensure the highest consistent <a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/candle-wicks\/wedo-lx-wick-raw\">quality<\/a> while protecting the environment.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Natural Identical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Naturally derived<\/h3>\n<p>Materials in the product can be the same as those found in nature or synthetic but must be made from naturally sourced materials.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Natural derived X<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Vegan<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/candle-wicks\/tcr-series-wick-raw\">Raw<\/a> materials used to make product must come from plant based sources. This means it can\u2019t contain any animal or petrochemical derived materials. The options here include essential oils or natural plant derived fragrance ingredients. It can also include materials that are synthetic as long as all of the raw materials come from plant source.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% free of animal derived ingredients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Vegan Friendly<\/h3>\n<p>Like Vegan but can also include petrochemical derived materials as long as they don\u2019t come from animal sources.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100% free of animal derived ingredients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Organic<\/h3>\n<p>Must be from natural sources and grown and processed without the use of chemical pesticides or certain other ingredients. The cost as well as need for documentation is significant. All of the other ingredients beside fragrance must also be organic certified such as wax or soap. Facilities that are used to make organic products must be certified and adhere to very strict protocols to ensure that the integrity of organic products.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NOP Certified Organic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Cruelty Free<\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients and finished products not tested on animals pretty much everything that is sold these days fits this definition. There are NGOs that will certify for this.<\/p>\n<p><b>Labelling:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This product was not tested on animals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Sustainably Sourced<\/h3>\n<p>Ingredients must be sourced from renewable sources. There are different NGOs that will certify for <a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/guides\/the-truth-about-paraffin-wax-being-vegan-friendly\">sustainability<\/a>.
