Then, place the wax onto a medium heat and let it melt.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1464\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/1-2-1024x606.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1464\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/1-2.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1464\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 \u2013 Prepare Your Moulds<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>While the wax is melting, it\u2019s a good time to \u2018glitter up\u2019 your moulds &#8211; we are using the <a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/craft-supplies\/wax-melt-supplies\/mica-powder-glitter\/royal-blue-purple-biodegradable-candle-glitter\">Royal Blue Purple Biodegradable Candle Glitter<\/a>. Simply take a pinch of glitter and sprinkle it at the bottom of the moulds. This way, once the wax is ready to be poured, the glitter should stick to the outside of the wax melt.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1466\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/7MIZc1AA-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1466\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/7MIZc1AA-scaled.jpeg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1466\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1467\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/2-3-1-1024x668.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1467\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/2-3-1.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1467\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 \u2013 Add Your Dye<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Once the wax has completely melted, give it a nice stir and check the temperature to make sure it no higher than 65\u00b0C. If it is above this temperature, simply let it <a href=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/en_ie\/candle-making-supplies\/glitters\/lake-blue-biodegradable\">cool<\/a> off for a few minutes. Once the wax has reached the desired temperature, it\u2019s time to add the dye &#8211; we have chosen Violet to match the purple glitter.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Add a little pinch of dye but don\u2019t overdo it, a little bit should be more than enough. If you\u2019re not satisfied with the shade or colouration, you can always add some more. Stir the dye through the wax until it\u2019s evenly blended.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1468\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/3-1-1024x697.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1468\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/3-1.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1468\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4 \u2013 Add Your Fragrance Oil<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Once the dye has completely melted into the wax, it\u2019s time to add your chosen fragrance &#8211; we have chosen Parma Violet to match the purple dye and glitter. Place your melting pot onto your weighing scales and measure about 10ml of fragrance oil, which will be 10g on the scales. Now pop the wax back on a low heat and give it one last stir to make sure your fragrance is evenly mixed through.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-4 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1478\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/4-1-1024x616.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1478\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4-1.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1478\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5 \u2013 Pour Your Wax Into The Moulds<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Transfer your wax into a pouring jug. We suggest warming the jug a little bit prior, otherwise the difference in temperature might cause the wax to set in the jug instantly. With all the wax transferred, you can start pouring it into the mould, making sure the temperature is at around 55\u00b0C degrees.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-5 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1479\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/5-1-1024x635.png\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1479\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/5-1.png\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1479\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6 \u2013 Leave Your Wax Melts To Set\u00a0<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Once poured, leave the wax melts to set for about 4 hours.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Tip: <\/strong>\u00a0Although these melts take much less longer than candles to solidify, we\u2019d still recommend waiting up to 24 hours before burning them, so you leave enough time for the fragrance to permeate.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-6 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\">\r\n<li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\">\r\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1480\" src=\"https:\/\/cosyowl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/rTYd6aZQ-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1480\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/rTYd6aZQ-scaled.jpeg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.cosyowl.com\/guides\/?attachment_id=1480\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 7 \u2013 Pop, Melt &amp; Enjoy<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Once set, push the bottom of the mould and get your wax melt out. Then pop them on your burner and just like a home-made magic cauldron, as the flame melts the wax and fills the room with your favourite scent, you will enjoy the swirling shiny pool of glitter.
