Unser wooden wicks crackle, just like the crackle of wood on a fire or in a wood burning stove.

These rosewood wooden Kerze wicks are completely non-toxic, organic, umweltfreundlich und nachhaltig. The sound produced will vary depending on the type of wax used and the quantity of any added fragrance. Fun experimentation is the key. The wick should be trimmed to between ? and ¼ inch. If they protrude higher that this, then they might smoke slightly, although that will abate very quickly. The wooden wicks are sold with accompanying metal base supports which conveniently and without fuss helps to fix the wick to the base of the candle pillars and most other Kerzenbehälter.

These wooden wicks are very popular for birthdays, other celebrations and at Christmas; although, quite frankly on any occasion when you want something slightly different to your standard cotton wick.

We have seen better performance with wooden wicks if they are pre-waxed before use – this is a simple process of dipping them in the molten wax (carefully) prior to use. Let them cool before placing into the sustainer.

We would also recommend using 2 wood wicks per sustainer – therefore, for Beispiel, when buying a pack of 10 we actually will include 20 wicks (double the amount) with 10 sustainers.

These wicks are suitable for 8-10cm diameter containers/glasses.
